Buda firefighters will start things off with the 54th annual FireFest in Buda City Park beginning Friday, Sept. 30, and ending Sunday, Oct. 2. This is the first year the event will run for three days. Not only will there be the popular firefighter challenge, the events also include a 5K walk/run, kids challenge, barbecue cook-offs and entertainment by country music greats Casey Donahew Band and Roger Creager.
