Fred William Gillespie, age 73, passed away at his home in Kyle on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. He was born on May 18, 1938 in El Paso to Jack and Thelma (McKinney) Gillespie.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Gillespie; children, Marcia Mae Thurmond, Ruthie Timberlake and Jayce Gillespie; four grandchildren, Jody Dvorak, Christy Miller, Jake Milam and Clayton Milam; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Pennington Funeral Home in San Marcos. Graveside services were held Sunday, July 31, 2011, at the Resthaven Cemetery in Kingsville, Texas.
