Patsy Ruth Stringer Brewington, born in Buda, Texas to Theodore and Laura Belle Stringer, married to Jim Brewington for 58 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Pat is survived by husband Jim and their son, Mike Brewington and wife Debby; daughter, Luanne Caraway and husband Jack; daughter, Patti Green and husband, Wallis; grandchildren: Michelle Witherspoon and husband Lonnie and their children Amber, Curtis, Jason and Lane; Andrew Higgins and wife, Holley; JT Brewington and wife, Megan -their children Kaitlyn, Riley and Audrey; Kimberly Murchison and husband, Jeff and their son, Jack; Brandon Higgins; Jack Ryan Caraway and fiance, Kathleen Rhode; Clayton Caraway; Stephanie Green and Joshua Green and a large number of other relatives, friends and neighbors who loved her and always remember her as an upbeat, cheerful person.
Pat was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in San Marcos. She spent her life in the fold of Jesus and she continually sang His praises with her voice and her life until she was called home. Pat never met anyone that she didn’t love.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested for those that wish to make a memorial donation, the family suggests the MS Society (http://main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/Patsy.Brewington), CTMC Hospice or Calvary Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in San Marcos on Friday, July 22nd at two o’clock, with reception following.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, between 6 and 8 p.m. at the same location.
