Dana Priscilla Wright Allcorn, 71, of Buda, known endearingly to her family and friends as Mimi, passed peacefully July 18, 2011 surrounded by loved ones. She was a fun loving, talented lady who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was born in Tulia, TX on December 19, 1939. She graduated from Grand Falls High School in 1957.
Among her occupations, she was a hairdresser, O.R. nurse, and real estate agent. She moved to Austin with her family in 1972.
Dana was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Clyde Ervin “Bebop” Allcorn and her son, David “Scott” Allcorn. She is survived by her daughters Beth Pearson and her husband Timothy Doughty of Kyle, and Mical Lamar and her husband Joseph of Buda; grandsons Aaron Allcorn, Brian Lamar, Taylor Pearson, and granddaughter Amanda Lamar.
The family will receive friends from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., Saturday July 23, 2011 at Harrell Funeral Home, Kyle. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. at Onion Creek Memorial Park.
