The downtown merchants would love to see you on Aug. 4 for “First Thursday.” Stamp Art will be the activity featured on the grounds at the Buda Library from 6-8 p.m. The downtown Buda shops and restaurants will stay open until 9 p.m. Come eat, shop and enjoy your small town.

Pack up your snacks, lawn chairs, blankets and join your friends for the last free summer concert under the stars Friday, Aug. 5, at 8 p.m. at Buda City Park. Music will be provided by Jimmy and the Roller Lunars and featuring Curtis Grimes. Grimes who is from Gilmer, Texas, recently opened for Kenny Chesney and was one of 16 finalist on NBC TV series “The Voice.” KEYE-TV will also be around with live broadcast from downtown Buda at 4, 5 and 6 p.m. Come early for the concert and meet the anchors from KEYE.
There is a new little girl in town. Eryn Taylor Antoine was born on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:33 a.m., weighing seven pounds, four ounces and 20 inches long. Her Buda family Rich, Vanessa and Reighan Antoine and proud Nana, Cathy Blunck, welcomes her. Everyone is doing well and very happy.

This month marks the 6th year that Pediatric Junction on Railroad Street has been providing professional loving care to the young children in the Buda area. Thank you Drs. Karyn Collins and Anna Lincoln and all your staff.
