Our beloved Vicente (Rocco) Moraida, age 76, resident of Buda, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 30, 2011.
He was preceded in death by parents Amelia Muraida and Evaristo Muraida Sr.; sisters Pauline, Guadalupe M. Soriano, Esther Garcia and brother Evaristo Muraida Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife Frances Herrera Moraida; son Vincent Moraida (Josie); daughters Margaret Medel (Paul), Angie Vega (Lalo); 13 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 4 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South First Street, Austin, TX.
Funeral service will be May 5, 2011 at Trinity Abundant Life Assembly of God, 412 Cumberland Road. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Reyes, Jeffrey Jaimes, Jonathan Hernandez, Joseph Romero, Julian Rodriguez and Michael Rodriguez Jr., Jose Martinez, Joshua Rodriguez.
Honorary pallbearer is Vincent Moraida III.
