Lois L. Yarber, 94, of Buda and a former resident of Wimberley passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Deer Creek Nursing Home in Wimberley.
Lois was born on October 2, 1916, to Annie Mays Smith and Dooley W. Smith in San Marcos. She was a retired beautician and loved gardening and her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Roberta J. Starlin and her husband Jack C. Starlin of Buda; eight grandchildren, Connie, Cheryl, Callie, Billie, Robert, Patricia, Chris and Dean; 18 great grandchildren and 14 great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lew Allyn Yarber and her daughter, Jane A. Lightfoot.
Services were conducted Monday, September 19, 2011 at Thomason Funeral Home in Wimberley, burial followed at Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca.
