Kyle Chamber of Commerce
“Why would someone want to join the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce?” The answer is different in some aspects for each of our members, but a few truths remain constant for all. The Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce’s mission is “to promote, empower, and be a valuable resource to the business community and chamber members; and to position our community as a tourism location and ideal place to live.”
John Donne stated it best in his poem, “No man is an island, entire of itself.” He was writing about the fact that we are all connected to each other in some shape or fashion. The action of the few, affect the many. Kyle Chamber members, board of directors, staff and volunteers are engaged in our strategic plan to help guide the future of our community:
• Establish and implement a marketing and communication strategy by linking members, the community and the public.
• Increase resources toward financial independence.
• Increase membership value and overall membership.
You see, we are working on providing solutions to the challenges that we face as a community which are apparent today as well as those that will require solutions in the future.
We welcome individuals, organizations and businesses to become members of the Kyle Area Chamber. One of my favorite quotes by Margaret Mead sums up that together we can make a positive difference, “Never let it be said that a small group of people cannot change the world, in fact it is the only thing that ever has.”
