Elizabeth Lancaster, age 93, of Buda passed away peacefully December 8, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mose and Mabel Johnson, sister, Ethel Gould, and husband of 49 years, Ralph Lancaster.
Elizabeth is survived by brother William Johnson (Gene) of Kyle, sister Mac Freeman of Buda, son Billy Ralph (Judie) of Kyle, grandsons, Keith and Ken, special nieces and nephews, Mac Morgan, Connie Freeman, Leslie Jones, Buddy and Bobby Johnson, James Gould and Casey Sutton. Also surviving her are many other relatives and friends who will miss her unwavering loyalty and love.
Elizabeth was born and lived her entire life in the Buda area where she was active in community and church affairs. Her kindness and enthusiasm for life were an inspiration to all who knew her. She lived the last 20 years at the Onion Creek Village Apartments in Buda where she was blessed with the love and support of many friends there.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 12, at First Baptist Church of Buda with Pastor Buddy Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Live Oak Cemetery.
