A 34-year-old New Braunfels man died when he lost control of his motorcycle along FM 150 on Saturday morning, authorities say.
Melvin Cintron was southbound on his 2009 Yamaha motorcycle when it veered off the highway and hit a sign a few miles south of Dripping Springs, a Department of Public Safety official said.
Cintron was traveling with a group of other motorcyclists and appeared to be the only one involved in the incident. A helicopter was called out to transport Cintron but he was later pronounced dead at the scene around noon. He was wearing a helmet, authorities say.
