While his fellow governors gathered last week in Salt Lake City for the National Governors’ Association convention, Gov. Rick Perry was here in Texas, and he ceremonially signed several bills recently passed by the 82nd Texas Legislature.
One of those bills, House Bill 3328 primarily authored by Rep. Jim Keffer, R-Eastland, addresses the use of hydraulic fracturing to break up substrata to find pockets of oil and gas.
