The Hays Magic 8U team took home the championship trophy in the Lake Travis Halloween Bash. Hays Magic is comprised of girls from Hays Youth Baseball Softball Association who want to continue playing after summer and sharpen their competitive skills for spring. The Hays Magic was formed last winter by Coach Nathan Harrington. Joining Harrington as assistant coaches this year are Jeff Thurman, David Lewis and Roxanne Sanchez, who are all in their second season as assistants, and new coaching recruit Chris Bartsch.
