BUDA -- It will be merry and bright for Budafest this year with holiday activities from Friday, Dec. 3 through Sunday, Dec. 5. Residents are welcome to visit the festival grounds, including downtown Buda, Greenbelt and City Park and Amphitheatre.
Below is the activity schedule.
Friday, Dec. 3
6 p.m. — Festival grounds open to the public
6:30 p.m. — Tree Lighting Ceremony
6 – 9 p.m. — Ornament market, performances, and more
Saturday, Dec. 4
Noon — Festival grounds open to the public
Noon – 9 p.m. — The following activities are open for the duration of the festival: craft
and food vendors, Santa's Artisan Workshop, carnival, and children’s
activities
Noon – 5 p.m. — Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus
Noon – 6 p.m. — Snow play area (or until snow melts)
6:30 – 8 p.m. — Lighted parade and fireworks
9 p.m. — Festival grounds close to the public
Sunday, Dec. 5
Noon — Festival grounds open to the public
2 p.m. — The Reindog Parade – applications may be completed at this link:
Noon – 5 p.m. — For the duration of the festival: craft and food vendors, Santa's Artisan
Workshop, carnival, and children’s activities
Noon – 5 p.m. — Pictures with Santa Claus
Noon – 5 p.m. — Snow play area (or until snow melts)
5 p.m. — Budafest grounds, except the Amphitheatre, close to the public
5:45 p.m. — Holiday movie: A Christmas Story, Buda Amphitheatre
