Author David Rice made his third visit to Lehman High School recently, completing what some might call his most successful discussion yet. Student Robert Pierce said:
“I learned that internal motivation is more important than anything else. If you can’t find the driving power inside of yourself, then you need to change something because that is not the way [life] should be.”
Rice has written “Give the Pig a Chance,” “Crazy Loco,” and “Heart-Shaped Cookies.” His recent cinematic enterprise has yielded “Scavengers” and “Gone Hollywood,” which should be released in 2012. His latest movie, “Beach Cop,” is in pre-production.
Rice has continually lent his energy, expertise and insights which produce long-term enthusiasm for writing and a sense of the achievement inherent in us all.
