The Buda Police Department will launch a Blue Santa program this year, which they plan to make an annual event. They hope to raise funds to enable them to give a number of area children an opportunity to “shop with a cop” for Christmas. Your help is needed for this very worthy cause. Monetary donations can be mailed to the Buda Police, P. O. Box 1218, Buda, TX 78610 or contact Crystal Andrews at the police office at 312-1001 for more information.

The newly formed Buda Ministerial Alliance invites everyone to the Community Thanksgiving service at Santa Cruz Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 23 at 7 p.m. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the food banks at Santa Cruz and Buda United Methodist Church.
Two hundred fifty pounds – that’s what the folks over at Buda Dental Professionals bought back in Halloween candy last week. The candy will be shipped overseas to our men and women serving in the military.

The latest update on Eleanor Early is that she was admitted to South Austin Hospital on Sunday with double pneumonia. Eleanor has had a very rough time the last few months and we want to wish her a speedy recovery. Her “42” buddies really miss her at the Buda senior center.
