Juan “Johnny” Ramirez, 53, of Kyle passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011. He was born in Martindale, Texas on May 24, 1958 to Faustino and Sofia Ramirez. He was employed by Hays CISD for 30 years where he will be missed by all that knew him. His hobbies included car racing and going to car shows.
Johnny is survived by his mother, Sofia Ramirez Rodriguez; sister, Lupita Ramirez and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Faustino Ramirez; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nat Alonzo and Mr. and Mrs. Nastasio Ramirez; stepfather, Oscar Rodriguez; uncles, Benito Sr., Manuel, Pablo and Vicente Ramirez; and aunts, Juanita Ramirez and Petra Mosqueda.
The Rosary was recited on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Harrell Funeral Home and Mass was celebrated Friday, November 18, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment followed at San Juan Cemetery in Reedville.
