Veterans Day events throughout the week (Nov. 10–12)
The Kyle/Buda VFW Post will participate in some of the many Veterans Day celebrations throughout the county.
Poet reading at Porter House (Nov. 11)
Prize-winning poet Michael Dickman will be reading and signing copies of his books at the Katherine Anne Porter house in Kyle at 7:30 p.m.
‘Into the Woods’ (Nov. 12–13)
The Hays High School Theater Department presentation “Into the Woods” will continue its run at the Burdine Johnson Theater on Saturday and Sunday.
Charity Fun Runs (Nov. 13)
• A 5K run benefitting PAWS Animal Shelter will begin at Wallace Middle School in Kyle at 8 a.m.
• The Hog Pound of Wimberley will also host a ride, raffle and fun run to benefit the Hays County Food Bank beginning at 9 a.m.
