On Tuesday, October 4, neighborhoods throughout Buda are invited to join with thousands of communities nationwide for the National Night Out. From 6 to 9 p.m., residents in neighborhoods throughout Buda and across the nation are asked to turn on porch lights, lock their doors, and spend the evening outside with their neighbors, police officers, firefighters and EMS paramedics. Events such as cookouts, block parties and neighborhood walks will occur simultaneously throughout the city. We are encouraging everyone to come meet your neighbors and commit to help law enforcement reduce crime in your neighborhoods.
