Kyle area Chamber Chatter

by RAY HERNANDEZ
Kyle Chamber of Commerce

With the holiday season in full swing, we have just cleared off the dishes after a great meal as we give thanks for all our blessings. The Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau is blessed with an incredible network of business, community, elected officials, school district, city and county staff working to create a place that is both unique and welcoming. Sometimes we forget how fortunate we are to be part of a new Kyle that respects the past, is developing the future and balances the needs of a growing and simply charming community. The Kyle Chamber is happy to be a partner in these efforts.

Please join us on Thursday, December 1, at the beautiful Winfield Inn (900 Scott Street in Kyle) from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. for the December Ambassador’s B.A.S.H. as we gather new unwrapped gifts for children, sponsored by the Winfield Inn, Seton Medical Center Hays, Community Impact, Compassionate Care Hospice and Curious Chords Music Studio. Attendees will be treated to gifted students from Curious Chords performing a variety of songs of the season. A photo booth will be provided by Say Cheese for Fun. Everyone will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with Santa with proceeds being used for even more gifts for children. We will also offer a host of hors d’oeuvres, holiday cake, adult libations, a coffee bar and kid-friendly beverages provided by H-E-B-Plus, Texas Ritas, Kenny’s Coffee Company and Twin Liquors. This event is free and open to the public. We encourage all attendees to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child in need in the Kyle area. We will also be accepting monetary donations in lieu of gifts. Hays CISD and Hope and Love 4 Kids will distribute the toys to children in our area that might not receive a gift this year.
