An unidentified vehicle hit a 45-year-old man as he walked on the shoulder of the Interstate 35 frontage road near the intersection of Brent Boulevard Friday night, police say.
The man suffered a broken leg when the vehicle clipped him from behind. He was transported to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin around 8:45 p.m., a Kyle Police Department spokesperson said.
Since the victim and the vehicle were both heading northbound, he didn’t see the vehicle coming and couldn’t provide a vehicle description to police, the spokesperson said.
Police are investigating the incident as a failure to stop and render aid.
