A 32-year-old Guatemalan man is in jail after being accused of repeated sexual abuse of a child younger than 14 years old, court records show.
Juan Rosa was arrested Oct. 23 for the abuse that allegedly occurred from March 2009 to July 2010. In August, he was indicted on continuous sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony, records show.
Rosa, who lived near Kyle in the 600 block of Sante Fe, remains in custody at Hays County Jail on a detainer from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, jail records say.
