I live on FM 967, maybe a mile east of the Salt Lick on RR 1826. I feel there will likely be a death at this intersection soon after Scott Roberts opens his new entrance to his place of business. This new entrance has its own lane coming almost to RR 967. People racing down RR 1826 from Hwy. 290 – I can only assume will start slowing down as the road comes down the hill to this intersection – 967 & 1826. It’s been dangerous without this new entrance to the Salt Lick. Several years ago there was a meeting at “Thurman’s Mansion” about putting a light at this intersection. I’m really amazed TxDOT would allow this but…
