Kyle’s Discount Tire now open
Discount Tire, America’s largest tire and wheel retailer, has opened a new store in Kyle.
Off Kyle Parkway at 20655 Interstate 35, the facility’s equipment includes no-touch mounting machines and automatic inflation equipment that protects employees. Manager Justin Netherton is a 19-year employee of the company.
Dickey’s Barbecue now open in Kyle
Kyle’s newest barbecue place has opened its doors.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, run by co-owners Chris Hooker and Trey Leggitt, is beside Seton Medical Center Hays, at 5695 Kyle Parkway.
“We are enthusiastic to begin serving Kyle the best tasting barbecue,” Leggitt Jr. said in a prepared statement. “We want to serve the local community proudly with our food and customer service.”
Texas-based Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 and began franchising in 1994. Dickey’s is scheduled to have 200 locations by the end of this year. Dickey’s Barbecue offers meats and homestyle sides.
