Jesse Porras Jr., 58, of Austin, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011. He is survived by his mother, Mary Helen Porras; wife Judith and daughter, Leah; sisters, Angela Petreczko, Linda Porras, Irene Bellman and her husband, Bill; brothers, Gilbert Porras and his wife Delfina, Larry Porras and his wife, Brenda; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Porras Sr.
At the time of his death, he was employed at Hemphill Elementary in Hays CISD as an assistant vice principal.
Son, husband, father, brother, educator, and friend – he was so very loved and his presence in our lives will be truly missed.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
