Raphael Sam Anderson, age 92, of Buda, Texas passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011.
Sam was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Dorothy Bauerle Anderson. He is survived by his son, Charles Anderson and wife Martha; daughter, Karen Lanfear and husband Clint; niece, Sandra Hale and husband Gary; grandchildren, Casey Anderson, Kelly Hyde, Shannon Stanislaw, James Steiner, Connor Lanfear; eight great-grandchildren; and many other special family and friends.
Sam was a member of the Plumber and Pipe Fitters Local #286 for 65 years.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Seton Hays Hospital, Hospice Austin, and loving caregivers Candy and Darlene.
Graveside services were held September 27, 2011 at Live Oak Cemetery, Manchaca, Texas under the auspices of Buda Masonic Lodge # 800 AF & AM with Pastor Jody Mayes officiating.
