by SANDRA GRIZZLE

Brahms’s lullaby played over the speaker at 12:01 p.m., on Tuesday, December 13, announcing the arrival of a healthy seven pound, five ounce baby boy. Braxton Kade Owens was born at Seton-Hays Hospital to first time parents, Matthew and Karen of Buda. He is welcomed into the family by grandmother Jennifer (Powell) Williams and great-grandmother, Judy Powell, as well as many other close relatives.
