Countdown to Boo-da

Buda Bits

by SANDRA GRIZZLE

Weather perfect, that is the way to describe last Saturday and Sunday’s Fine Arts Festival. Well maybe not perfect, it was a little warm for October and windy, but nice. The artists seemed to be selling their wares as many folks were carrying pictures and packages that they had purchased. A tremendous amount of work is involved in producing such an event as the Fine Arts Festival and we thank all the folks who helped to make it possible. Hope it will happen again next year!

The Buda Bees thank all the people for stopping by Buda City Hall to view the many beautiful quilts on display for their annual Quilt Show. Glenda Detling won the “Best of Show” award. Also many thanks to all who purchased a raffle ticket for the quilt that will be given away on Sunday, Dec. 4. Proceeds from the raffle benefit the building fund of the Onion Creek Senior Citizens.
