Carol Dwaine Baker, 77, of Buda, was born July 27, 1933 to Harvey Erastus Baker and Alice Mae Shouse Baker. He passed away on June 6, 2011 due to complications following heart surgery.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty; his parents; and grandson, Kyle Rosebrock.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary; daughters, Lala Baker, Cherry Knepley and husband Mark, Linda Rosebrock and husband Bob, Becky Banks and husband Randy; grandchildren, Dale Delisle, Jim Pfertner and wife Melissa, Rick Rosebrock and wife Melanie, Kelly Pfertner, Katy Wood, Sarah Banks and Chelsea Knepley; great-grandchildren, Annemarie and Beau Rosebrock and Aiden Wood; brother, J. T. Baker and wife Lucille; sisters, Clara Logan and husband Skip, Phyllis Knapp and husband Wally, Kay Bay; and numerous nieces; nephews; friends; and special niece, Tracy Collins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue, with Father Keith Turbeville officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca.
