Kyle Public Library has a new area in the children’s section! There is an Early Reader section which contains books designed for beginning readers, ages four through eight. And it is growing!
We all know that reading should be an enjoyable experience. Early readers are books designed to encourage your child to become a lifelong reader. Books with memorable characters, rhyming text, phonics, controlled vocabulary and realistic dialogue, such as “Frog and Toad”, are wonderful tools to help your child during this exciting time as they are learning to read.
