Hays County public school retirees and educators who are near retirement age will meet on Nov. 10 to discuss efforts to protect their state retirement plans.
Tim Lee, the executive director of the Texas Retired Teachers Association, will provide details of interim legislative studies of statewide retirement systems of Texas and how these studies will impact public pension plans.
The meeting is set for 11:30 a.m. Nov. 10 at Mamacita’s Restaurant at 1400 Aquarena Springs Drive in San Marcos.
