Alicia (Alice) Montoya, 63, of Kyle, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010. Alice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed celebrating life with all her family. She also touched the lives of the many children she helped educate for over 30 years in the Austin and Hays school districts. Her greatest joy was serving the Lord, which she did faithfully. Her family will especially miss her enthusiasm for life. She is preceded in death by her father, Esequiel Fonseca, Sr. and brother, Esequiel Fonseca, Jr.
Alice is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Jack Montoya, Sr.; sons, Jack Jr. (Dora) of Kyle, Daniel Sr. (Elizabeth) of Kyle, Lee (Esther) of Del Valle and James Sr. (Adriana) of Kyle; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother, Estefanita Fonseca of Combes, TX; five sisters; two brothers; many in-laws; nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home in Austin. Interment followed at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
