Virgie Lee King Parsons, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Uhland on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at the age of 90. She was born on December 30, 1919 in Cleveland, Texas, to Cullen H. and Susan (Finkley) King. Her parents and her husband, Virgil Parsons, preceded her in death. Her daughter Mary Beth Deary and husband, Eddie of Uhland; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren survive her.
Celebration of Life Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 7, at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Kyle, with the Rev. Dennis Koger officiating.
