KYLE -- Residents are invited to join the city of Kyle for the Public Safety Center Groundbreaking Celebration at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 at the corner of Kohlers Crossing and Marketplace Ave.
In the November 2020 election, 55.49% of Kyle voters passed Proposition A for the city's bond proposal to construct a new Public Safety Center. The $37 million project is set to grant room for the Kyle Police Department to grow over the next 20 years.
The new facility will allow Kyle Police to expand its services to improve emergency response times, accommodate victims experiencing trauma, create an investigations suite and canine unit, manage evidence processing, increase officer training and pursue accreditation.
