Youth Art reception Tuesday
A reception on Tuesday, March 30, 6-9 p.m. highlights the climax of the local observance of Youth Art Month. A silent auction benefiting art scholarships will be part of the show. Student artwork from across the school district is available one last week for viewing. The work is on display at the Curriculum and Instruction Annex—Academy High School complex during the school day.
Concert offered
Both Hays and Lehman high schools are offering their pre-UIL concerts next Tuesday, March 30, at the Performing Arts Center. The program begins at 6 p.m. with the Lehman Concert Band, followed in order by the Lehman Symphonic Band, Hays Symphonic Band, Lehman Wind Ensemble and Hays Wind Ensemble. The concert is free and the public is warmly invited.
