Clearly the city of Kyle has chosen a new direction for leadership on the City Council. In the spirit of that choice by the voters I would like to take this opportunity to endorse Diane Hervol for City Council Place One. It has been my privilege to serve with Ms. Hervol for the past two years on the City of Kyle Planning and Zoning Commission. During that time I have observed her ability to comprehend complex problems and watched her decision making capabilities mature to the point where I believe she is now the right person to fill this position of service to the city. Difficult decisions come with the territory for anyone who dedicates themselves to this level of service and I believe Diane has the moral character and intelligence that will equip her to make decisions that will be best for the city. She has expended the time and effort required to qualify someone for such an important position.
Diane has also demonstrated her commitment to Kyle by investing in a home, becoming involved in neighborhood activities, assisting in community projects and reaching out to Kyle residents on a personal basis. I believe the city of Kyle would be wise to place Ms. Hervol in this leadership position to responsibly guide Kyle during this period of continued growth.
