With both teams boasting great offensive weapons, the Dripping Springs Tigers pushed through to win Friday’s home football game 47-21.
The Tigers remain undefeated 7-0 on the season, and are 4-0 in district, sitting in the 3rd place spot.
Dripping Springs had steady scoring throughout the game, putting on the board in respective quarters – 10 points, 14 points, 7 points and 16 points.
Veterans Memorial scored 6 points in first quarter, 8 points in the third and 7 in the final quarter.
The Patriots fall to 3-4 on the season.
The Tigers will take on Harlandale on Friday in San Antonio.
Two more games remain in the season for the Tigers, as they take on second-ranked Johnson High on Oct. 29 at home and first-place Seguin High on Nov. 5 in Seguin.
