Lisa Denise Wells, age 40, of Kyle, passed away on March 16, 2010, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 5, 1970 in Stephenville, Texas to Mickey and Billie White and married the love of her life and best friend, Danny Wells 19 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Danny; their children, Mickey, Angel, Courtney, Kassidy, grandson Marcus; Buster and Karen Calvin, her mom and dad by marriage; sister, Linda Hubbard and husband Richard; brother, Robert Wagnon and wife Dana; brother by marriage, Donny Wells and wife Lisa; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her extended family of friends and co-workers from the Holiday Inn Town Lake, and a very special thank you to Paul Boudreaux for all his love and support. Also, thanks to the many friends that were there for her and her family during her illness including the staff of Christopher House. Lisa loved being surrounded in her final weeks by these friends and family and felt truly blessed to have had these people in her life.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 18 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Ave., Austin. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 19 at Week-Corley-Fish Chapel with Pastor Phillip Stephens officiating.
