Boy Scout Troop 967 participates in our state’s “Adopt-a-Highway” program. We meet one Saturday a month, weather permitting, to pick up trash along a two mile stretch of FM 967. Although it does not sound like fun, it usually is – you would be surprised at some of the things we find. This letter is to thank the anonymous driver who stopped on a recent morning and gave us pastries. In addition, we appreciate all the the friendly honks and waves we receive from fellow citizens.
