Eugenia Selman Dahlin, 83, of Kings-land, passed away on Sunday June 20, 2010.
She was born June 13, 1927 to Beryle (White) and Bartlett Selman in Carrizo Springs, TX. She graduated from Buda High School in 1945 and married David E. Dahlin, Jr., on November 22, 1950 in Buda.
Eugenia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kingsland; she enjoyed church, her church family, singing and painting. She loved her family, cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she is now with the love of her life, Jesus.
Survivors include daughters, Diane Pax and husband Ed of Platte City, Missouri; Jeannie Kay Davis and husband Milton of Kingsland; sons, Richard Dahlin of Kings-land; Donald Dahlin and wife Yolanda of Kyle; sisters, Ruthie Donsbach of Austin; Beryle Sue O’Dell of Kerrville; brothers, Bart Selman and wife Margaret of Austin; Paul Selman of Elk City, Idaho; Walter Selman of Wimberley; Gary Selman of Kerrville; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, Beryl and Bartlett Selman; husband, David E. Dahlin, Jr.; sister, Roxie Selman; sister-in-law, Linda Selman and brother-in-law, Elbert Donsbach.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, June 23, at First Baptist Church in Kingsland with Pastor Doug Lindley officiating.
