John was a kind-hearted, brilliant man who led a challenging life. His family is grateful that he is now at peace. He loved the study of words and the comforting logic of mathematics. He also loved classical music. Folks wishing to honor his memory may make a donation to KUT radio. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Mary Maxwell, the staff of Retirement and Nursing Center and Hospice Austin, who have made his last year a blessing. Also our fondest gratitude to Jan McCaleb who has become a part of our family.
