Buda Bits

by SANDRA GRIZZLE

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas... and it is just Thanksgiving week. Lights and decorations are going up all around us in hopes that Santa Claus will make his appearance at the 31st annual Budafest which will be Dec. 4 and 5. Downtown Main Street will be all-aglow starting Friday, Nov. 26, when the Christmas lights come on at dusk.

The Buda Library is asking for book donations for the annual book sale during Budafest. Take note, the Buda Library will be closed Thursday and Friday of this week for Thanksgiving holidays, but will be open at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Buda City Hall will also be closed Thursday and Friday.
