Hemphill Elementary School students and staff enjoyed their Celebrate Freedom Assembly last week, including recognition of and a moment of silence for those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Principal Paige Collier challenged the students to do a random act of kindness or an act of service during Celebrate Freedom Week.
