Odds & Ends
by MYRTLE HEIDEMAN
I sure am glad I did not have to chop wood to warm the house and cook the food. Believe me I have done that. I do wish we had gotten a few more inches of snow, so the kids could build a snowman. If anyone sees “Al,” please ask him what happened to “Global Warming?” We did loose our lawn mower shed when the northern blew in. Winter is here!

Clarence Heideman hosted a dinner at Mamacita’s Restaurant in San Marcos on Saturday evening to celebrate his 91st birthday. Attending were nieces and nephews, grandnephews and nieces, sister and a couple of cousins. After the meal they gathered at his home in the Horizon Bay Assisted Living in San Marcos for birthday cake, coffee and soft drinks. A few of the residents and employees joined the gathering too. Happy birthday, Clarence, and many more.
Coming by to visit Raymond and Myrtle Heideman on Sunday evening was grandson Dennis Heideman.
