Be more conscious of the foods you eat

A grass fire that consumed 10 acres in Buda on Friday afternoon also destroyed about 20 portable toilets in storage at a business that leases and services them.

The Buda Fire Department responded to the call about 3 p.m. and spent about two and a half hours fighting the blaze around the United Site Services complex at 168 Park 35 Cove.

The fire’s cause was not immediately known but does not appear to have been set deliberately, said Lt. Leroy Opiela, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.

United Site Services, Inc. is the nation’s leading provider of portable restroom services and has a stockpile of more than 125,000 portable restrooms at various locations nationwide, according to the company’s website.
