A 21-year-old female was reportedly raped in Kyle by a known male acquaintance early August 13, police say.
Around 1:30 a.m., Kyle police responded to the call along the 21300 block of IH-35, where the victim told police that she was raped by a man she met recently, a Kyle Police Department officer said.
The victim received minor contusions in the sexual assault, the officer said, who added that the case is still under investigation.
In less than a month, there have been at least two reported rapes in Kyle. On July 23, Aaron Young, a 20-year-old Kyle resident, was arrested and charged with raping a 21-year-old female.
