Sylvia L Sendejo, a resident of Lockhart, was released from her earthly bonds to be with our Father in Heaven on Nov. 30, 2010 at the age of 58.
Born April 8, 1952 in Wesleco, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, she is preceded in death by her loving mother Alvina V. Livas. Sylvia graced us and the whole family with her smile and presents of life. Her battle was short lived but her forever love will always be in our hearts.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years Aldolfo Sendejo; sons Ruben Sendejo and wife Tracy of Kyle, Andy Sendejo and wife Melissa Alaniz of Buda; daughter Melissa Sendejo; father Fernando Livas Sr., both of Lockhart, brothers Fernando Livas of Las Vegas, Oscar Livas of Houston, Arturo Livas of Edinburg and Carlos Livas of Corpus Christi; sisters Dalia DeLeon of Houston, Diana Noyola and Cynthia Olivares, both of Corpus Christi; and 12 grandchildren.
Mass of a Christian burial was Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Rev. Father Juan Carlos Lopez officiated. Interment followed in Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale.
Serving as pallbearers were Matthew Alaniz-Sendejo, Christopher Mendoza, Michael DeLeon,Jacob, Ruben and Zachary Sendejo.
