Rachel Eliza Griffiths, author of “Miracle Arrhythmia,” will give a reading and book signing at 7:30 p.m on Friday, Feb. 11 at the Katherine Anne Porter Literary Center in Kyle.
The event is co-sponsored by the Therese Kayser Lindsey Reading Series and the Texas State Department of English. The reading is free and open to the public.
Griffiths, a poet, painter, and photographer, received her MFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College. Her visual and literary work has been widely published both nationally and internationally.
A recipient of numerous fellowships and awards including those from the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, Vermont Studio Center, New York State Summer Writers Institute, Soul Mountain, New England Humanities Council and others.
