Stephen William Schneider, 45, of Greensboro, NC, died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Hospice Home of High Point. Stephen was born March 6, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Richard William and Carolynn Ann Smith Schneider. He was a member of the graduating class of 1984 at Ragsdale High School and a graduate of the Johnson and Wales University College of Culinary Arts in Charleston, SC.
Stephen owned and operated Marisol Restaurant in Greensboro. On March 7, 2010 he married the former Robin Angela Burkhart, who survives him. Also surviving in addition to his wife is one son, William Crew Schneider; two daughters, Memphis Ray Schneider and Sullivan Hunter Schneider all of Greensboro; parents, Richard and Carolynn Schneider of Buda; and one brother, David Eric Schneider and friend Carla Goodknight of Goffstown, New Hampshire.
A service to celebrate Stephen’s life will be held Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro, NC 27407, conducted by Wallace Sills. The family will receive friends at the funeral home the day of the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice Home of High Point, 1803 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
