Lehman High School senior Gonzalo “Gonzo” Diaz has been nominated by Congressman Lloyd Doggett to attend the United States Naval Academy.

Gonzo has held leadership roles with the Junior Naval ROTC, participated in the UIL Spelling and History teams, and is a member of the National Honor Society. He was also the Lobo Outstanding Student of 2010.
He is pictured here along with his mother Katherine Diaz, his father Gonzalo Diaz, Sr., and younger sister Daemary, a student at Wallace Middle School in Kyle.
