STAFF REPORT
The Hays County Sheriff’s office is looking for two men who officials say have stolen copper and aluminum from a construction yard across from Dripping Springs Elementary School on Ranch Road 12.
The suspects were interrupted during the course of a theft on Sept. 14 but fled on foot, abandoning a beige 1996 Saturn. Identifying information on the vehicle turned out to be fraudulent.
Concealed cameras captured images of two men that authorities have yet to identify. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations division at 512-393-7814 or Hays County CrimeStoppers at 800-324-8477.
